Orland K. Armstrong (1893-1987) was an American Republican politician and member of the United States House of Representatives, journalist and social activist. During the mid-1920s, Armstrong worked as a freelance journalist for several newspapers and national magazines and had the chance to conduct a rare interview with Charles Lindbergh for "Boys' Life" magazine in 1927. The two men bonded over their passion for aviation and ties to Missouri ties, becoming lifelong friends thereafter. Armstrong also shared Lindbergh's isolationist views and was among the earliest to join with his friend in the America First Committee.
